Hardie Soffit Cedarmill Vented Soffit Panel is a fiber cement siding soffit designed to mimic the look of real wood siding with less maintenance, better wear and a long life. Hardie soffit panels are Engineered for Climate and designed to hold up to the changing weather conditions in the environment where it is installed. Noncombustible cladding complies with ASTM E136, does not burn and will not attract insects and pests including woodpeckers and termites. Use on the underside of eaves where a vented soffit is required for roof areas. HardieZone System engineering means it is made to withstand the specific weather conditions of the area where it is installed. HZ10 formulated soffit is made to withstand high temperatures, humidity, moisture, sun, hail, tropical storms and hurricane winds. Soffit is pre-primed using a primer with a yellow hue allowing for maximum paint adhesion on the jobsite. Paint it any color within 180 days of installation using an acrylic water-based exterior house paint.
